Aysgarth Camping (formerly Colman’s of Aysgarth) is a small, family-run touring site nestled in the stunning surroundings of Aysgarth, right in the heart of Wensleydale.
This site promotes peace and quiet and is aimed at those wishing to enjoy the countryside and spectacular scenery.
Designed for Touring Vans and Walking Tents
Our touring site is open all year round and includes hard standings and grass pitches for motorhomes, camper vans, caravans, roof-tents and walking tents. Our pitches are on the generous side (12m x 12m), each with electricity. Whilst tent pitches on the camping field come without electricity.
Walkers with tents are most welcome and our camping field offers the perfect place to set up after a long day walking. Our ‘Camping Hut’ offers an indoor facility with fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle ! We are unable to cater for larger tents and groups with large tents.
Our visitors include walkers, cyclists and tourists from near and far wishing to explore the area using the site as a base for a few days or just as a stopover on their way elsewhere.
Well behaved dogs are also welcome at the campsite.
